With Ava's mindset of "just 5 more minutes, I missed a spot" you can assume you won't be making your dinner plans on time. ​

Ava is committed to ensuring that every client leaves with a precise cut. She is happy to take on any cuts but favors skin fades, curly cuts and dreadlocks. With each appointment it's easy to tell that she's doing exactly what she loves.

Ava spent the last three years traveling, barbering and tattooing in Mexico before deciding to move back to Canada to pursue her dream, The Parlour!

Outside of the shop, Ava can be found traveling, hiking, petting your dog and browsing the local bookstores.​

Chelsea is a travel agent and draftsperson -turned -barber who is crazy about dogs. After scooping them off the streets of Mexico, you'll find her walking them, snuggling them and sharing photos of them with her Instagram friends (who also happen to be dogs). 

Along with her desire to create a unique experience for each individual, she particularly enjoys #1 & #2 fades, hot shaves and massages. While she has less experience cutting hair than Ava, she is a fast learner and happy to be Ava's apprentice and personal cheerleader. 

​Although he cannot be trusted with scissors, Hero is a vital part of our team. He takes his role as 'Shop Greeter' and 'Head of Security' quite seriously.​ 

This mama's boy is a former Mexican street thug with a serious soft side. If you pay the dog tax (of multiple head scratches), you'll have a friend for life. He's loved by many and a very tough pup to get ahold of as his primary job is taking care of his socially anxious rescue sister. Otherwise chasing squirrels, he will occasionally take a day to stop by and say hello to all his fans at the shop.
